According to Basement Water Control our basement should never flood again. They installed a drainage system with a sump pump and covered it with cement. We need to let it dry for a few days before we can put everything back into place, but at least it's done! Here are a few pictures from today.

They drill holes along the length of the wall that lead outside. When the water comes in it travels to the drain below the rocks and is trapped. The sump pump pushes all the water in the drains to the outside.
