Happy Halloween

"Give me candy."

"I want two."

As hard as I tried to teach Sam the basics of Trick-or-Treating - you know, "trick-or-treat", "happy halloween", and "thank you" - it didn't quite sink in. He was SO EXCITED to knock on complete strangers' doors and get candy. Much to my dismay, he stomped through a few flower beds, jumped in many a leaf pile, and even chased this old lady's cat into her backyard. It was an adventure for all! We had a great time trick-or-treating with Alana, Ian and Alec. The weather was GORGEOUS and the boys got some good loot. Here's a few pics that capture the spirit of our Halloween:

Ian as "Detective Mario"

Alec as the "Pacified Pumpkin"

Sam as the "Treasure Seeking Pirate"

Mick as the "Tame Tiger"

Don't they look good in orange?

"Excuse me ma'am. I found this pirate lurking around your house. Would you like to press charges or just give us some of that candy you've got there?"

Confiscated evidence and sweet treasure.

A very fun adventure.

Also a very tiring night.
