A Painful Week

Max's surgery went well. Thank you to all who helped with meals, calls, emails, etc. We feel the love! The twins had their 2-month appointment today (even though they are 11 weeks old!). They both received three shots and one oral vaccine. If you thought watching one baby get shots was hard...

Here are the stats -

Lucille

11 lbs.
22 inches
25th percentile for height
30th percentile for weight

Nicknames: Chunky Monkey, Goose, Buddha Baby

Max

10 lbs., 9 oz.
22 inches
9th percentile for height
12th percentile for weight

Nickname: Maximus Prime

We get to add some cereal to his formula to see if it will keep some of the urps down and help him sleep more peacefully and for longer amounts of time. He still eats every two and half hours at night. He's had a rough week with surgery and shots. Sam, on the other hand, likes to inflict his own pain. Never leave this boy alone with a pair of scissors. Ever.

Yes, that is my bathroom. Heaven forbid Jeff could take a week off to just relax and watch football. Nope. He has to be busy, so amid the surgery, Thanksgiving, and chaotic life of twin babies, Jeff has undertaken a total bathroom makeover. Really?

At least Sam looks a little contrite this time. Just buzz the rest off and call him Uncle Mike for 3 months.
